I happened to be looking at BBC sport web page yesterday and at that time England need something like 32 runs from 35 balls to beat South Africa and reach the cricket World Cup Final at Lords on Sunday. I decided to listen to it live, and very exciting it was too.

At 2 runs needed off 3 balls a player was bowled out. Oh no, I thought that's blown it! However, new batswoman came in, no messing, hit a four :)

@Fruitcake were you listening? It's on sky but we've not got it :(

Read about it this morning, didn't know the result but was trying to find highlights last night. I met Brunt a few years back shes from sunny Barnsley.
Top team looking forward to Sunday

Its a rare day you see the words "exciting" and "cricket" in the same sentence.....

I've been following it through the group stage when I remember (a similarly close match against Australia) but forgot about yesterday until right at the end when we needed 6 runs off 10 balls... and lost 2 wickets getting them!
    Good stuff.

  7. As usual, England make it difficult for themselves. Good result
Unfortunate commentary moment. "It's about time she got 3rd man up."

Yes it was really exciting, glued to the tv! Can't wait for the final on Sunday. And the football last night was great as well with the Lionesses beating Scotland 6 nil. The way they played they've got a great chance of going all the way, they seem even better than they were at the World Cup in Canada 2 years ago.

We can pay for a day Sky pass through Now TV so may see if we can get it on Sunday. :)
Watched the footy last night as well. Some nice goals :) the match v Spain may be a different story tho. Women's rugby World Cup soon too. Got the para athletics too :). Who needs to watch over paid premiership matches!!
