Evening All Jo my wife and I (Andy) would like to say hello to all here on the forum, a fortnight ago we, well I (and I was told off! Oops) purchased a 1975 Aussie import. Picking it up if everything goes to plan tomorrow afternoon. I know it going to need work already picked up various spares catalogues whilst at Busfest at the weekend. Really looking forward to the restoration. We also have a T4 and a mk5 Golf (which due to my latest purchase is likely going to be sold to buy an Up doh!) bay costing me money already lol. On a more serious note, there is no doubt that I will be asking questions and advice. Cheers for taking the time to read. Andy n Jo
Welcome along! Best place to be for asking questions but be prepared for the odd sarcastic comment from the old timers Apart for anything oil based, your questions I'm sure will be answered sensibly, enjoy and good luck

Welcome to the forum guys! I noted your buying an Up!, excellent car, very nice to drive but they are very thirsty. We had one from VW in Derby, drove home, some 26 miles and used 1/4 tank of fuel!
We're down in Newport, South Wales (I'm originally from Nottingham been down here some 15 plus yrs). Pics will be up in the next few days. Been to Busfest for the last six years and still haven't managed to see everything!
Hello and welcome, from the depths of the New Forest. Good luck with the collection tomorrow afternoon. Look forward to seeing some photos
