European Recovery

  1. As we didn't take recovery with our JK Insurance (we weren't going anywhere for 6 months) we apparently can't get it until we renew! :(
Does anyone know where I can get 6 months European recovery for a 72 Bus?

  2. Do you get breakdown with your bank account?

  3. AA , Rac or Green flag maybe ?

  4. Nope they all have restrictions on vehicle age! I never knew this until I started investigating.

  5. Britannia Rescue is who we use - although I'm not sure if you have to be a member of the Civil Service Motoring Association to get their cover. Their overseas cover is great though and no age restriction.

  6. PS just checked - you don't, but it's cheaper if you are. We covered the camper and added on personal cover for both of us (giving you the same level of cover in any car), then cancelled our AA cover on our daily drivers.

    Eligible Vehicles
Saloon cars, hatchbacks, estate cars, MPV's and motorcycles (over 200cc) all less than 10 years old. Cover may be extended to a 15-year age Limit provided an extra premium is paid. Cover is restricted to a maximum of 4 passengers and the driver.

Sorry but light commercial vehicles, vans, mini buses, pick-ups and motorised caravans cannot be covered.

Caravans and small trailers attract an extra premium of £30. Caravans are restricted to a maximum length of 7 metres, height 3 metres and width 2.25 metres. Trailers are restricted to a length of 2.25metres.

I confirm the vehicle to be covered is in good working order and has been serviced as necessary and accept and agree to abide by the terms of the insurance.
