Just found a policy for my next Euro trip which is by far the best value around. Brittania rescue/Liverpool Victoria - 134 pounds for the year and includes repatriation (without having to go to the port) My van is a '74 model and no age restrictions. A good deal.
A lot of insurers will add it on for considerably less than that. As a stand alone policy though it sounds a pretty fair price.
yeah realised that mistake but bought my policies 6 months ago :-( will try and incorporate next time around - an identical cover with AA was 225 (as an AA member with discount) so really good price.
these days it seems the way to get the best deal is swap each year to another provider. Staying loyal to one company gets the worst deal.
