Eskdale Dubfest - Brand new Lake District weekend!

It was my first run out in the van ever... recon engine supposed to take it easy... pahaha... I don't do things by halves...I went to drive my friend to her wedding the next day and the drive shafts fell off... was just lucky it didn't happen over hard knott...and wrynose

going down it I had my brskes on and she just kept going... was petrified... wheel spinning all sorts.. I think if I had been able to see down I'd have bottled it... just had to keep going

 

It appears I have missed the bus with this one as there's no room at the inn

@Dubweiser ...there's another great campsite a couple of miles away called Fisherground....I've stayed there a few times....take a bike and you can wobble home (not that I'm condoning this sort of behaviour)
Plus when you realise everyone's a @hailfrank in real life, you can escape the riff raff

 

We have just booked a camping pod, it's more expensive but we'll just come in the car and save on petrol costs

Unless I can find a nice beetle for sale in the next 6 months
