well I am back from my adventure to your great island.. we caught the ferry in Belgium to Hull ,the ferry was the pride of York ,it was`nt very nice ,it must have been one of p and o`s cast offs... ;D But I did have my first taste of smooth for 5 year mmmmm ...We had a quiz and played bingo with the northerners it was good speaking English if not a bit overwhelming... We reached Leeds about 10 just in time for a Sainsburys breakfast...yum.... after all this time, I forgot how people were so friendly and polite...... ;D We stayed in a dodgy part of Leeds [Harehills],but the good thing was takeaways were only a phone call away ,we miss the convenience... we spent the next few days shopping in Leeds city center ,the misses had her eyebrows plucked ,nails done in the middle of the shopping center : We did`nt bother filling the washer wiper bottle up ,we defo needed it on the motorway, in France we never use it ,must be your pollution .... I drove on the wrong side of the road 3 times [once round a roundabout] and the misses nearly crashed.. ??? we caught brittainy ferry from Portsmouth last night ,this ferry was very very nice.... I do think England is the same as I left it 5 years ago ,people rushing about and getting no-where .... what I did notice most of my friends are jobless and depressed... It is nice to be back..... O0
Just to mention, I did not see one vw bay camper... :- I did see a split on a trailer and a couple of T25`s.. C Just wondering about house prices... My mate said his house was worth 112k three years ago and now it is worth 85k due to the recession... Now if he had sold his house three years ago ,then bought it back now ,he would have 27k profit in the bank... soooooo if this has happened throughout the land ,who has got all the money...?
Nobody bought a house as they were waiting for the prices to drop ,but what they forgot was the price of there own property was also falling
