G'day all. over here in oz our vw sites have a thread devoted to engine conversions using non vw engine's. Having done several over the years including an ej20 turbo subaru into a mates syncro it's a good thread for helping out fellow vw people to decide if it's worth while & what to expect out of the hard work involved to get it done . As you see by my thread in introduce yourself nothing out of bounds to me as far as safe mods that are not super stupid. it would have been easier to use a chev s/b but I don't need that much power. to do what I am doing.
