Engine bay spruce up.

Discussion in 'Restorations' started by cooldad, Mar 9, 2012.

  1. There was a slight leak from the bell housing .So winter project was engine out replace crank case seal & give the engine bay a spruce up. When I stripped the battery bay out although the last owner had a new tray fitted it was not a good job.
Fuel tank removed and found a kilo of sand behind tank.
why do simple jobs turn into a lot more work than you originally thought.

This really seems to be the current trend on TLB!!

I'm halfway through mine and following the thinking "i'll do that while it's out" is really making the hours tick by!! Hopefully I'll have the cracnk case back next week to start rebuilding my engine... I'll race you to be being back on the road ;)
