Giving Endorse-it a try for the first time this weekend, I'll let you know how I get on when we come back!!! http://endorseit.co.uk/
have fun - the Strummerville stage is there with some great bands - be sure to check out Beans on Toast!
Well, where do I start, how about with - What an awesome weekend. There was a bit of something for everyone, however, if you like your Cow punk/Rockabilly/punk rock, then you are particularly well catered for - highlights for me were The UK Subs who played tighter than a camels ar$e in a sandstorm, The Cropdusters, a band that I used to see when I lived on the south coast many years ago and still rocking it and The Urban Voodoo Machine than had the sound of a Balkans wedding band. This is definitely an event for the older festival goer, as someone in their forties, my age group and older were certainly well represented if not in the majority.
As promised, a few pics of the weekend This was our little patch of Dorset My mate is the editor of one of the motorhome mags and had this on test for the weekend - bloomin' 'eck it was big Here is our sunday dinner being done in the oven (thats right - oven) Me and the youngster - not letting standards drop just 'cos we're camping This is a rockabilly band called the Aces Trio joined by................a large drunken rabbit Who put Granny on the bus? The Missus and Kid on the naughty step Some of the sculptures were incredible Sunday is ladies day, all the guys dress as gals and believe me - there were some sights to behold Including yours truly
