I've posted on here a few times and bought a few bits and bobs, but just found this and thought it'd be rude not to say hello. Recently bought "poppy" after all the metal work and a respray had been carried out, but with no interior other than two crap front seats! she needed a rebuilt gearbox and a few other tweaks to get it mechanically sound. then discovered how much the roof leaked! so currently embarking on a roof rebuild followed by a new interior... few photos...
Hi Will - nice looking bus. I used to have a devon pop top like that and never found the source of the leaking no matter how many solutions I tried. You can get fibreglass caps for them - dunno how good they are but they should be ok.

I've had a look at the roof caps but once they're on, and if the bellows get ripped or whatever I think the only way to get it off is to prise it off which I think will be the end of mr roof cap. Made a new centre section, repaired and strengthened the frame and about to put some vinyl over the top of everything and rebuild it! Sticky fingers tomorrow! Fingers crossed this works, it's been a swine and I don't want to do it again anytime soon!
