Elemental Roll Call

Hi peeps
I'm here I the main car park. Seen JenW and Hippyrich. Anyone else here yet ? I'm in a green westy with kermit in the driving seat, along back of car park if anyone fancies saying hi, please do.

 

Due to the ground being mashed up there's no displaying so we're all up in the camping field. We're top left hand corner of the camping field and Hailfrank's blue bus and our beige bus with roof rack are visible! Hailfrank's put a Late Bay banner/ flag up by his bus.

Mrs M - I was the line up here on my ownsome - opposite the childrens play area from 0850 to 1545 providing a wind break for the dune buggies. Had no problems getting in. I saw your updates but my phone would not let me post to let you know i was here - sooooo, i wandered round to the camping (twice) to meet you guys, found the vans but on both occasions you were obviously on the wander.

Then at 1530 i got a call from home that our bathroom heater won't turn off despite everyone best efforts to stop it so had to hit the road to get back here to sort it out. Just as well I hadn't had a drink so far today. So bit of a bummer that I still didn't get to meet you guys but I have been spreading the TLB message and at least four people said they would take a look this weekend. Enjoy your evening, looks like a beautiful night ahead but it will be a cold one with no clouds. Hopefully will get to meet you all at another event.

 

We wuz there, but we didn't see not no-one. We had a wander around the camping site but missed all the late bay busses somehow. Pete we need a TLB banner for the tops of the poles we use for flags.
They were turning people away at 11.30 because the car park was full.

 

Ha - I thought hippy bloke was straight up, but appears not (mud he denied existed).
I'm glad I didn't go.

the car park was packed - some of the people who i was talking to said that they had parked on the road as the car park was full. i showed my display pass on the gate and was directed in - there was a ford transit stuck but i was told to drive round it. must admit, it got to 1030 and i thought i had been stood up. the hay did ots job but the centre of the display area was pretty boggy so it would have got worse. shame but at least it wasnt raining

 

Had a good day today. I reckon Elemental had outgrown this new venue by 10.00am this morning. Even with the displays in the main area instead of scattered around the car park i don't think it would have alleviated the lack of space due to the shows popularity. Credit to Technohippy and his crew for keeping the show going though without any hiccups that I was away of. I thought there was a nice feel to the show. It was also nice to catch up with some fellow TLBers even if it was just to say hi (you all know who you are). Took some piccies so I will get these up in the Elemental show thread in a bit.
Mabel saw your van there looking a bit lonesome. Credit to you for going in the 'swamp' though. Hope to catch up with you next time.
