Nay lad that’s summat else entirely! (Well no entirely but nevertheless it’s summat else!)

 

Nope! Tea cakes have 'fruit 'in them.

 

Not in Barnsley.

 

I was in Cawthorne, which is posh for Barnsley, at a cafe and the lady asked me if I wanted my teacake buttering....I had ordered a bacon sandwich and a scone and mug of tea. We did have a laugh! She is from Holmfirth which explains a lot I put her right about the breadcake!

 

Cut out the rubbish HP and go straight for the original Tamarind paste....uuummm

 

It's got to be Heinz ketchup, no matter what the bread roll is called.

 

Just salt

 

Salt and freshly ground black pepper for me.

 

Ketchup... why try to hide the lovely taste of the egg?

Try sugar smarting HP or Tommy sauce you'll be surprised how much sugar it's made from.
