Edinburgh is a great place to visit. We went a few years back and loved it! Be on the castle at mid day for the Bagpiper, he will send goosebumps down your spine as the sound reverberates around the castle. Their is also the various vaults to visit, a spot of ghost hunting. Go, you will enjoy it
Edinburgh is a great city for a visit, the castle is a must and down thd other end of the Royal Mile is Holyrood House and just beyond is Arthur's Seat if your feeling energetic. We also caught the bus out to the Royal Yacht Brittania which even an ardent non-monachist like myself found interesting. For a great view of the city take a walk up Calton Hill around sunset. entertaining they frightened the bloody life out of me, we did the Edinburgh Vaults late one night & someone got spooked
Haha, yes someone had to be escorted out when I did it years ago. They’re very effective but entertaining after time
stayed in a nice hotel. opposite the castle didn't have to walk far and could see it from the indoor heated pool.
