what food do you take with you to make easy meals as my first trip is coming up and want to be prepared
Do you want to cook or just heat up, You can make something in advance like chilli, freeze it and it will defrost slowly in a cool box. Serve with pasta or bread and a few beers
Anything that can be eaten cold, so pasties,kingsmill rolls, crisps, sausage rolls, beans, salad, cheese, rice pudding. Just those will stop the hunger while you get the bbq lit! a good bet on the bbq if your without a fridge, or using a coolbox, are the bratwurst german sausages, the come vacuum packed so sit in ice/water ok. also frikedella, which are german spiced burgers, also sealed. Uncle bens rice bags can be done easily in a saucepan, and come in many flavours and store easily. we also have tins of sweetcorn, butter beans, rice pudding, peas, carrots and potatoes, cos no one can be bothered with peeling stuff in the bus!! if you like a good fire, the kingmill rolls and cheese go in this!!

pre chill wine, beer and cool box at home and if you want it extra cool stick one of them frezzer blocks in as the leave.
