Early decklid on a late?

Engine lid.... Same size? I know hinges etc are different but sizewise are they interchangeable?

 

Not proper early ones which are curved, but late ones will all fit if you are prepared to mess about with the hinges. What sort are you after and how bad is yours?

 

mines a minter.....just like the look of the early number plate recess etc lol

 

They are taller too, it just won't fit without rebuilding the rear end as an early which would be daft.

 

could probably let the early recess into my decklid.....mean a bit of fabwork though lol
