Dubs at the Castle - Caldicot - 20-22 July 2012

I'm thinking of coming along for the day tomorrow but a bit worried about parking and mud. What's the situation there - a bog? Squelchy? A bit damp? Perfect? As long as car park not bad I'll probably be there but I do know my bus doesn't like mud - been stuck numerous times before!!

 

Not sure where the car park is. The camping and show fields are dry and free of mud it's sunny and baking hot so far today.

 

Glorious day, too hot ,must drink the cider before it gets too hot!!

 

I've been drinking the Bowlegs cider fron the Welsh Cider van. Lovely stuff.

 

Day parking is tarmac on an adjacent business park

 

Only one Latebay in show and shine. Metallic blue twin slider with devon poptop. Tried to upload a picture but Tapatalk not letting me.

 

Late bayers partied too hard last night, and couldn't enter the S n S soon enough!

 

Was going to stay over tonight but show staff stressed 4 times that there would be no security when I asked if that was OK. So as there was a queue at the police van getting incident numbers this morning for thefts (so much for security) I am not risking it.

 

We heard about a few thefts but since they laid on some more live music and security were there all night patrolling we stayed.
