Dub Odyssey. Rotherham 26-28th July. Any of you going?

I've just booked my tickets, any other TLB ers going?

I'm a member of SVWOC, who organise the show, but I have to say £8 including camping for the entire weekend is a bloody bargain! Especially as a campsite just quoted me £22 to stay for one night.

It's a small local show, but everyone is friendly and all the ones I've been to have been a good laugh

That's a shame - it's on the doorstep for us Sheffielders, but we're elsewhere that weekend. Maybe next year!

 

We're going and trading there this year, heard loads of great reviews about it!!!

Also a member of SVWOC. I'm going to try and get the Friday off work, and so are a couple of my mates, so we can come down and help set up!

Only discovered this in the week and thought I might head across on Sunday for the day but erring towards a bit of campage after work tomoz perhaps?

I went on the Sunday for the day. Only a small affair but for the price it was bang on. Still have the ticket on the dash and was only saying to my lad yesterday that I must look into dates for this year - I'll defo be camping

 

Our wristbands arrived on Friday. My lad is gutted that his is pink. Mwahahaha

 

Yep I went last year it was great. I went with lots of non vdub friends & they all enjoyed it. We had a few beers, watched the local bands & felt pleased we hadn't spent a fortune going to Glastonbury type festivals. My local vw club organise it. Members have to help out, so I had to shift a few bin bags last year. They have already sold half the tickets. It is only a small show, so depends what you want from a vw event, but you can't go wrong at 12.50 for the weekend! Pirate them this year
