That's not how it is , and I think you may have found out for yourself at Camperjam. The problem here is to do with the product that you are offering and some doubts about whether it is the best way forward.

Perhaps I should not have any opinions and stick to explaining how to set valve gaps and timing.

 

Interesting read, think ive learned something. What I dont quite get is if you successfully do this (ie lower it) what are the benefits?

Totally understood but I'm really not advocating them as the best way forward just a way forward that can be used in conjunction with other things to fine tune (for me it did tick all my boxes on paper so it was my choice out of all options).

There clearly is no one best way forward unless you have very deep pockets and lots of time. Sadly though despite my simple intent to just offer these a bit cheaper than usual with full transparency is (quite surprisingly if I'm being honest) too much of a controversial subject so to move this on to conclusion, Mod @bernjb56 , whilst it's been a fun 24hrs ride, reluctantly lock this thread up please.
