Just a thought....make sure the PO hasn't bodged, welded, bolted or altered the runners before you give it too much stick!

Yep..I have one. Take it out for better access to the drivers seat runner.

 

ok thx for the replies, i'm fitting new cab window and 1/4 light fittings & seals in the morning, i'll try the oil solution, check for welding and post some pics if it cant be done,

Any luck shifting it?

 

Sit on the seat pull the lever and push with your legs against something solid see if you can move it back first. If you can you then have a bit more momentum moving forward. Then back then forward until it comes out if you what I mean.

 

thanks for all your advice, I bought the oil solution, did a bit of rocking back and forth and it released, there was a lot of mess in there, so filled it with more solution for overnight and will look in the morning

What should be on the runners to keep em running smoothly, a bit of oil, grease, nothing?

 

I noticed untouched grease, it looks like it had been spotted and never made contact
