Dougal's in his new home

  1. So just got Dougal back from a friends while we have been having the garage re-built. The asbestos had to go anyway so we thought we would take the opportunity to increase the size of the garage. We still need the final doors fitted which should be the end of this week, but couldn't wait to get him back, I have a few jobs planned for him this week.

We have had a complete new side wall to hold the new roof, new purl-ins and roof covering. Just need to get the strip lights re-connected and we're done, ready for winter.

Wish I could wipe that smile off my face as I kept worrying I hadn't measured the height properly, relief !

  10. The garage is now 3.5m wide, 2.1m high and was always 5.7m long. We've even managed to get the bins and a work bench in down 1 side. Just don't ask me how much it's all cost :-[

  11. Fancy storing your pride and joy in the bin store !

  15. i want barn doors rather than an up and over one

  16. And their steel, so no worries about warping, I do feel very lucky. Do you think I should try asking for a classic motorbike to use the space up :)
