Thanks for all the comments guys!!

@ Bern - No, we found her by chance.. been in a garage in a township in Pretoria for over 3 years.. no-one knew she was there except for the deceased owners son who ended up selling it to us.

  13. Gotta love a South African doka

What age is it? Is it bit of a parts bin hybrid? Seems to have the early fuel flap and those rear wheels look to be early too?
    :)

    Hi Joker!!

74 model. Not early wheels. What do you mean by the early flap?

    Cheers!

  15. Nice one :)

  16. do they all have a fuel filler flap door? I though that was only on <72? Its hard to tell in th epic but it looked like the rear wheels were early

That's a good question, I'm not really sure.. Learning more and more as we work on the D/C. Amazes me how many different variations there are.

SA baywindows follow the same schedule of changes as German (they are all German sourced except the Brazilian baysplit hybrids). AFAIK the fuel flap delete came with the 74 model year change in 8/73. That implies your DC is actually a 73 NTO. Does the VIN start with 263?
