dogs beds in vans

where does your dog sleep in your van :smiley_dog_kiss: :dog:

 

My dog sleeps on her bed in the passenger footwell, its her own little space out of the way at night

 

i thought that might be a nice space

 

In bed with us for half an hour then quater of an hour on the floor
After that she wants a wee then after that its the drivers seat before climbing up on the dash so her belly sounds the horn
She then scares herself and runs back into our bed at full pelt and bounces the duvet down to our feet


If shes been in congis van she gets under our duvet and passes out in a big ball of dog and duvet

Both (Shih-Tzu and DalmatianxBlack Lab) on the full-width bed with us - it can get a little cramped...

They stay warmer longer than hot water bottles

 

Generally, Stoney (Queen Bitch) sleeps on the bed with us, if she gets too hot she takes herself of to the drivers seat. Oliver (The Dim) sleeps on the floor or between the seats in the walkthrough.
If I'm by myself then Stoney sleeps next to my head & Oliver takes up the rest of the bed. Great for camping in winter & much better than a hot water bottle. ^-^

 

Charlie slept on the drivers seat wrapped in a blanket the first time... now he sleeps in the bed with me he's only tiny... muggins slept on his bed on the floor tucked under where the bed overhangs...he always gets on the bed at about 5 am though snuggly little piggies x

 

Eddie sleeps on the bed. Mmmm, warm....... but oooooh, 22kg of dog.........

 

Well harvey sleeps in his bed on the floor in front of the walk thru.

 

if we take the awning the dogs sleep in there, if we don't (or it's cold) they both sleep on the floor but often chance their luck at jumping on the bed.

 

i must admit i'm not a fan of dogs on beds ken, but sometimes (especially if it's just me and the labrador camping) i'll give in as it's nice to be warm, i don't let the dogs on the bed at home though.

 

Anybody who's ever met Púca will tell you, she'll sleep anywhere she damn well pleases ;D

But usually wherever your feet need to be :

 

Sophie sleeps in the bed warming our sleeping bag until we venture back to the van then overnight she sleeps on the passenger chair. She seems comfy there but generally wakes us up in the night by turning round and round and round :
