Devon roof inner seal fitting

  1. Sound deadened and insulated then fitted 2mm pvc sheet with adhesive.
    Before I attempt fitting new inner seal is it easier from underside or from top as cant work out easiest option. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

  2. Ha, With all that extra weight you have added you are going to have to add some washers to the springs to increase the tension.

    I changed all 4 of my struts to gas struts yesterday and increases the height to make it less like sleeping in a coffin.
     
  3. After looking at mine, I would say fit it from underneath. Put the roof upside down on the floor and sit the seal in the outer edge, and then sit the centre panel on top of the rubber, and work round pulling the seal up past the centre section. The filler trim on mine is on the inside. I’m interested to see how you get on, I think mine will need a refurb sooner than later.
