That's what I was looking at it for as well. Just in case you had not worked it out, they are called antiluce fasteners and you can find them at trailer suppliers shops with a quick Google. Sizing is clearly the big trick.

I’m hoping davidoft sends the ones on the van so I won’t have to buy any.

 

The fasteners fit to the body panel not the engine hatch lid!!
I had them on my bay but cut them out and did away with the wheel holder
Tried a Bluebird custom version but when I went to stainless steel bumpers I didn’t want to drill the bumper so went to a tow bar mounted spare wheel carrier

 

They are pretty cheap (£5 for a pair maybe) and new uns will look and work better. It's just making sure you get the right ones I reckon. I'm going to Kent for @juliankv73 's one tomorrow night I think. More news soon.
