Funny that, I was looking on WW last night for a late set, and they don't do them!! I've fitted a deluxe trim kit to my 69 in the past. An easy job, but yes you must drill loads of holes all round the bus, then screw plastic clips to where you just drilled the holes. I used a plastic template to mark the middle of the belt line all round so it would be the same. And a set of dividers to equally space each fixing. The key here was to spend loads of time setting out, as you pretty much only get one chance to get it right. Then after that the trim just snaps into place and won't come off. Hope this helps bud.

How come its £100 less? Is it stainless? Not overly sure if I'm liking the hole drilling, after I've spent so long welding holes shut :/. I'm on the fence, do they do a adhesive version? Lol
I am a fan and would like to put this on also. But drilling into freshly repaired panels I think I will give it a miss. There is someone on here that done a nice job with the adhesive version.
I put a post on here before about the self-adhesive stuff and someone has done it and it looked good, and like u say no hole drillig/rust traps. I can't remember who it was but hopefully someone will come up with it. I think it looks ace on late bays but never got round to buying any as the only 25mm wide stuff I could find was on ebay from abroad and worried about getting stung on customs charges.
Low price and out of stock is a familiar term to us lot ay? Translates to "never available again at that price!!"
I got mine from c&c the clips are pants and not the best fit on rear corners bit when fitted looks cool
The original is alloy and very hard to fit properly. The stainless trim is a nightmare to fit its too hard. If I had to do it again I'd fit the stick on stuff it looks real and fitts better. The best bit is its a tenth of the price.
