Dellorto or Webber

Hey everyone.....
I'm in a very lucky position to own a pair of Webber Carbs & a pair of Dellorto carbs.....
If you was to have a choice which pair would you fit to your bus??
Currently running 1600 engine but will be putting on a 1905 engine..... What would you do?

Dellorto copied the webbers and made them better, No contest

 

Dellortos.

 

Dellorto's are 40's
The Webbers are idf 44's

 

Webber's are a bit big, but the Dells are better anyway.

 

I have twin dell 40's with csp bell crank linkages and would recommend them both.

 

What engine and jets do you have @75swampy?

Did you have much hassle setting them up?

 

Lots of sleepless nights, help on TLB and reading the dell books. Got there in the end and learned a lot. Was squeaky bum time to be honest as I has to do it myself and they were attached to a brand new 2l 2 grand engine so I had a lot to lose.
