Only problem with using them on a Bay is that you'll need a pair of lengthy cables if you want a choke knob on the dash. If they're off an Alfa, likely to have the operating levers.
If they are straight off an Alfa they will need a few mods before going on a VW ...drilling / tapping for two studs , tapping for two M10 grub screws to block the hole above choke ...then it comes to vents , 180 airs and jets and the correct emulsion tubes ... you'll need a remortgage for eurocarb
Just a quick question about the vacuum take off For the dells I have it in the left manifold to connect to the existing pipe Has anyone left the existing hardline that goes across the back of the tin and blanked off the other side ? I might just negate that and run a new pipe? Thanks
yes I have it connected to both manifolds ...some say it doesn't matter and you only need one take off .but vw used two so I did ... the vacuum take off on the carb geos through an anti pulse valve ( connected the right way round ) and to you dizzy
thanks! is the anti pulse valve just to smooth the signal ... just answered my own question ignore me having a bad day!
Wow, they gave me a little fizzy feeling I keep buying little old carbs and I don't know why some are for cars I don't have She made me stop buying lights, so now I get these and she hasn't cottoned on yet
