Day trip on the train - a few piccys

As a few of you know i'm a bit of a rail enthusiast, after i outed myself the other night i thought i'd post a quick "show and tell" of what i do on these rail tours i go on, the whole idea with these for me is to re-live past trips when trains were proper engines - not plastic crappy foreign things like todays railway use. Yesterday i caught the train from stafford at 6.30 am to weymouth in dorset - down south somewhere.....good trip down plenty to see on the way and appreciate the loco on the front (a twin engined diesel "deltic" 55022 with 3300bhp on tap for a 50 year old loco it was a great trip) got to weymouth at 12.45 giving us 3 hours there had time for a few beers, a nose round the town, and a walk on the beach plus fish and chips, set back at 15.35 and got back to stafford at 22.10. here's a few pics and a video of the deltic departing stafford.

Most of my business is rail based - we sell the machinery for maintaining and overhauling trains. Done some work for the preserved side of the business, but they don't normally have much money, so mostly modern passenger EMUs / DMUs.
