Dashboard removal

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by vdub brvs, Mar 6, 2015.

  1. Just taking the dashboard out and hit a snag, do the air vent's detach from the dash or do they pull out with the dash. Any help is much appreciated :thumbsup:

The pipework unclips from the underside of the dash.
The vents themselves all come out with the dash.

  3. How do they unclip because these just want to stay were they are. Its one of those jobs I wish I didn't start, but I have to get to the metal work for welding before I fix a new window screen it. Am also having trouble with the last screw holding the air control mech :theforce:

  4. Sorry pipework I am trying to remove. . not the vents lol.

Take the glovebox out and you'll see the one that end. You have to squeeze the ends of the pipe work, they're held in with plastic clips Moulded into the end of the pipes.
