dash paint colour

  1. Opinions on the upper dash panel colour?
Which is better to reduce the glare? i really wanted to do it pale grey to match the exterior, but as its gloss and pale im concerned there will be a lot of light glare from it?

    Opinions are most welcome :)

  2. Light colours reflect on the windscreen quite a bit, we trailed a pastel white to match top half but went matt black before fitting.

    Edit.. satin black rustoleum...

  3. The original ones in steel are a crinkle Matt black finish or they are padded in the posh vans.

10/15% matting agent black. Not really matt, certainly not gloss. Seems to me every car has dark grey to black here for a reason.

    Mine is off white gloss.
    It’s pretty “glarey”.

  6. Black. Any lighter dash top will reflect in the windscreen.

  9. I painted mine with a satin black textured bumper paint. It looks factory, stops glare and its quite thick so it hides a multitude of sins.

  12. Satin black powder coat
I think lighter colours can look good but not practical because of reflection.
