  1. Good afternoon all hope you’re coping with this horrible time

I’m looking for “MORE” advice please

my engine re-assemble is progressing but when I was preparing the fan housing I noticed the small dent and hole (see photos) and was looking for your guidance on if anything needs done because I can live with the cosmetics of it but will it have any adverse effects

    cheers

  2. I’d patch the hole up (not that it will likely make any difference), but apart from that looks fine (but dented).

Would have tried fuller but can’t get any where I live unfortunately

  4. It’s just the newness wearing off ;). It’s not a show stopper but I’d still plug it in some way.

I bought filler off eBay this week.

  8. I would use one of those winged screws used to hang stuff on plasterboard. Big washer and some bathroom sealant.

EBay or Amazon will sort you out with filler.

Or just squirt some silicone if you have some? Or weld it if you have the means.

Use fibre glass loaded P.40 filler to bridge the gap.

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    Find a good one?

  12. I repaired some rot in my wooden shed with Isopon filler P40 with glass matting, P38 fine filler and some Isopon Aluminium matting, all readily available off ebay and cheap.

Yesterday I used same filler to repair some rot in my wooden back door, will paint it today. Its all about make do and mend in these strange times.

  13. The hole is the sort of thing penny washers or sometimes called mudguard repair washers were made for, the dents are just character:)
