Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

  1. had a few hours in the cold fitted slide door window and slide door seal s1.jpg
     
  2. allso starting painting the rear underneath ,here some before s2.jpg s3.jpg s4.jpg
     
  3. here is a start or the rear just gotta clean it up when wheels off !! s5.jpg s6.jpg s6.jpg s7.jpg

  9. so went to fit manual sys m1.jpg tem this morning and realised missing a vital bracket,mannaged to get 1 from volks magic
     
  10. eventually fitted it as its wasnt suppost to be on this auto, but we go tthere half a day later !! m2.jpg

  12. got 2 new hand brake cables in allso m7.jpg

  14. pal popped over to see daisy (so got him helping for an hour) im in the red hoody ,got the new seal on tidys it up m13.jpg m14.jpg m12.jpg

  17. Dude when that paint is dry you need to take the front face of your drum back to bare metal otherwise you run the risk of losing a wheel
    Have you done any prep underneath before applying paint?

  19. Because as the drum warms up due to use the paints softens
    As the paint softens you lose the torque on the wheel nuts and the wheel starts to work its way loose
