Daft question probably, what electrics do i need for a towbar

can you buy it in one go from anywhere and do i need anything specific ( for my bus )

 

You take a feed from the rear lights, don't know if you can buy pre wired plugs or not

legally you need a warning light or buzzer to tell you the indicators on the trailer are working, many people don't bother.

 

its to go on a westy towbar if that makes any difference

 

if the westy towbar is a proper one it will have the mounting plate already on it, you'll just need the socket cable and buzzer if you want.

 

You've not said what you're going to be towing, if its for a caravan you might want twin sockets with split charge relay ?
