CSP Bell Crank with CB manifolds and ICT's. HELP

  1. Hi all.

Does anyone have the above combination fitted. I have been fitting my CSP throttle linkage and it seems that the push rods supplied are no long enough to get travel. Has anyone had issues like this? Or, am I just getting it wrong. I have placed the longest rod on the RH side as in the instructions, but it barely seems long enough. Not sure how much travel I need on the cable to get full throttle.

  2. I have that same setup (type 1). I seem to remember a bit of faffing and initially thinking the rods were too short. Some swapping around (maybe switched the carbs?) solved the issue for me.
Really happy with the setup, once I'd got the ICT's rejetted from the eurocarb defaults.

  3. Thanks WillK. I will have another play with it tomorrow.

  4. Hi again WillK. Can you tell me how you solved the issue of not having a plate to clip the return springs to?

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

I take it you have them pushing? You can drill a small hole in the edge of the cylinder tins.

  6. Cheers Zed. Yes, I have them pushing. good idea about the cylinder tins. I will look into that in the morning. Think I can solve it by losing the cable end I had for the Empi Hex Bar and just trapping the cable. That will give me more travel.

  7. Can't remember any issue with return springs.. I'll have a look
In the morning and see if I can take any photos.

  8. Thank you!

  9. Not the best pics, but maybe some use..
