Brands Hatch race track is being handed over to the people at Volksworld Magazine for a day on September 20th 2012. Looks like it could be a good day out (although it is on a Thursday). I was thinking of getting a few of the late bay Gang to go there in a bit of a convoy from London around the M25 and over the water to Kent. My original plan is to meet at the services on the A1/M25 South Mimms. This is handy for all drivers that are coming from the Midlands (M1) and the north (A1/A41/M1) and also easy enough for the folks arriving from the West of the country (M4). As the meeting begins at 3pm i was planning to make the meet for 12:30 to leave at 1pm and we could pass into Thurrock services and the M25 before we hit the bridge to see if there are any stragglers there. If there is enough interest this could be a bit of a laugh and if camping we could all park up together? I'll pass on the convoy drive as its the wrong way for me as I'll head out via M25 Bromley/Orpington junction but I'm still up for this.
I was thinking of going to this but I'm in South London anyway so it's just a little trip along the A20. The biggest problem for me is that it is the birthday of SWMBO so it might not prove to be that popular a decision to go. I'll get to work on it.
