  1. So I have the cross over fuel tank and recently fuel filter was blocked with rust ! And the outlet pipe !! While I get it out next week gonna replace all breathers ect but how do I get the a sleave out of inside ?
Allso has anyone trie this liner stuff for tanks or the gravel in the tank and shake it like mad to remove the rust ect ??
    Any recommendations ect !
Iv got the tube type sender tank

  2. I took mine out when I had the engine out as it was full of crud. I didn't seal the inside of the tank while it was out, but I did use a couple of handfuls of nuts and bolts and tumbled them around the inside to knock the loose stuff off. Kept going until no more came out.

  3. I tried the tank liner paint kit stuff, seemed to work quite well, but the tank i used it on wasn't too bad to begin with, and the cleaner that came in the kit wasn't too great, I ended up using acid which really cleaned it, but you have seal it up quickly afterward because it will rust instantly!
