Crewcab won't start :(

Does it make any difference if all the plugs are out ?
Can you turn the engine over by hand using a spanner on alternator?
I would go and buy a brand new battery then you know it is good.

All tooled up with fresh earth leads, new spade connector for the starter and a tried and tested battery. One wire brush in had and a bucket full of enthusiasm. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for all the input and I hope its something simple/not expensive

 

woohoo. Got her started. Charged battery and new earth leads. Took her for a drive but not the performance I expected. Runs lovely with no flat spots but no acceleration slower than my standard bay. Not sure what it would be. A little more digging around I think.

 

Timing, which is why it fought the starter.

Check valve gaps and try a bit of fresh fuel
