Crankshaft Oil Seal (fan end)

Hi,

Is it worth reusing the original crankshaft oil seal at the fan end (rear)? JK and VWH don't seem to stock a replacement and I wonder if this is because they don't wear readily?

they wear out just like the front one.

 

Not unless it is unobtainable. your local bearing factors should be able to find one from the dimensions on your seal unless of course it is a one off peculiar to that use.
