  1. A child at my kids school has tested positive. He is in reception they are now closed. His brother is still coming to school year 2.

A nearby neighbour has a child in reception and should isolate, she took her kid for a eye check at the hospital today. She is a nurse.

    We are doomed

I can’t find a ‘shakes head despairingly’ emoji or I would be using it right now!

A colleague at works mum is a secretary to a tumour surgeon at the biggest hospital on the West Midlands. Another secretary from another dept. was in there office for a few hours last week and has tested positive. All of her mums office went off on Monday and then all went back to work on Tuesday before waiting for their test results to come back

Another office at work had two staff off with Covid, the other 4 in the office weren't told until the office was deep cleaned 5 days later!!

Really f***** off with it all.

  7. don't give up guys,if the majority do the right thing you will beat this, we have had our stupid minority doing the wrong thing also, we have all but eliminated it here in Australia for now anyway, as has been said the virus doesn't move people move it, its that simple, there have been a lot of double standards around quarantine and closures that have been hard to understand also, hang in there my friends

There are so many ignorant/stupid people around.

Mrs Norris has just finished self isolating after being in the car with a friend (both masked) who tested positive the following day. Track and trace didn't contact her, despite her friend handing her details to them. Mrs Norris works in a doctor's surgery and has vulnerable parents too. The surgery had the good sense to let her work from home for a couple of weeks.

You just have to do what you can, and be extra vigilant assuming that everyone else is not doing so. I've hardly been out of the house for 8 months (which doesn't bother me that much tbh) and not speaking to some of my family because of their attitude & promotion of plainly stupid conspiracy theories (which does bother me).

Look after yourself and your loved ones. It will pass eventually

Anyone and everyone can be as stupid as they like. All they need to do is blame the government and people will believe them!

Our 11 year old has just come home from school early. Some kid there, diagnosed with Covid19, apparently...

  15. I'm having trouble getting customers to wear masks when I work in their house , but they expect me to wear one ,I'm finding it increasingly difficult I'm nearly at the point of just giving up when they say 'what in my own house "
One customer a retired nurse insisted on making me a cup of tea after I told her I couldn't take it,she even squeezed the tea bag on the spoon with her thumb.
