Looking at big business and governments to play their part.
Australia just told everyone to effectively off re their reliance on fossil fuels for their economy.
So good look with that one.

Didn’t he lose his boat on one of the Southern capes on one of those Round the World races? You need guts to do that kind of thing.

  3. Yes he lost his keel ... was it the Fastnet ... if I remember he was rescued by the RNLI/Navy helicopter

How can they deny it anyway? Surely everyone knows by now...........who denied it, supplied it.

  10. Covid never happened I read that on the internet of course 80% of the stuff you read on the internet is fake news ... anyway back to sailing I am wondering what to do this year, moving the boat to Portsmouth Harbour, should allow us to get out more often. One day you can join us as long as you wear your non marking foot wear :)

You know, I gave up on £150 Dubarry boots and now wear a pair of £15 green Dunlop wellies to go sailing. Once they have been used for a while the soles stop marking decks...
I got in a fair bit of sailing but my boat is just visible from the house, so no rule breaking to get to it.

The anti-vaxxers and covid deniers are just leading the reboot of human natural selection.

Be careful not to sail too close to somebody else's wind

I got half a summer of sailing in - even won some Wednesday evening yacht races single handed in my boat, although it was really hard work when the wind got up to Force 4.

Is that because the better sailors weren't there? There were a couple of people at my club who won every club race they entered. How happy we were when they weren't around!
