Covers for engine bay vents??

  1. Anyone know if they do any?? im after some to stop the rain getting in?? odviously not for using while driving =D

  3. Lmao at the rust holes but i dont have conventional battery trays :p which doesnt help cos there are no holes, but if nt i will just fabricate some .... just thought id ask ...

    Regardless of fitting covers or not it is in your best interest to have drain holes in the tray. Batteries leak and water needs a place to go. With no holes it will eat away at the whole area.

  7. there are covers available - not sure where from.
    they have them in norway etc to keep the snow out.
     
  8. Lmao thats how ive done mine ahaha =] Stainless hehe and i was planning on putting drain holes in anyways wtf do u think i am ahaha =D ps nice colour engine bay =]

  10. I use a couple of flat plate covers held against the vent bars by spring loaded turnbuckles. The catch plate goes between the bars and when rotated through 90 degrees picks up on the back. Despite the lack of a seal they do the job.
