I spent today refurbing my front passenger seat and between this and the drivers seat, realised I have a couple of bits missing.

First - the long spring under the drivers seat..

Second - a kind of knob on the back of the front passenger seat..

If anyone has either of these parts or any leads, I’d be interested.

    Thanks,

  2. It it the ability to divulge the full information within the first post?

  3. I'm pretty sure I have a knob, different shape though (ooh er missus). Passenger seat should have two of these. Also out of all the seats I have dealt with I have never come across one with the spring so maybe not needed :)

  4. You lucky man.... pm me your address

P.S. coconut fibre seat pad on the passenger seat back rest is starting to see better days ;)

  7. You could probably use those rubber or nylon door stops like some people use fa window winders?

I’ve just replaced the crumbling and mis-shapen original horse hair seat base with a Wolfsburg West replica pad from Just Kampers.

Bit of a mission getting the seat cover back on but it looks and feels so much better.

That’s when I noticed the missing knob

I was trying to keep as many original parts as possible so didn’t replace the seat back - hence at 44 years old it now looks a bit moth eaten. I know I can do it now, so we’ll see if I have to replace that at some point too.

I’ll PM you about knob matters ;)
