Correct dizzie

Checking over some more bits on my engine today and found the number on my dizzie when removed to put the points and condenser back in. Turns out mine is from a 1600 beetle!!!

Question for you is what is the correct dizzie for my engine or at least an 1800- 2000 ltr bus??

 

If you do a search on theoldvolkshome site it lists which dizzys go with which engine ,

I may have a refurbed type 4 dizzy depending on what code you want ..

 

...but it won't be the cause of it driving like poo...

Ok well I am going to try the coil next. See how that goes.
