I am worried that half the population doesn't know how to cook. They rely on takeaways and pot noodles. How are they going to cope now!
I cleared my tools from the nearly finished project I’ve been working on, cancelled the carpets that were booked in and mothballed the whole thing. Hope it’s not been torched by the time I can get back to it!! I have a busy day of online PE lessons, crafting tutorials and swing ball in the garden lined up tomorrow- I’ll let the kids join in if they are good
Ready meals are available for those that can press buttons . Open packet , put in microwave and press buttons , hear ding open door and collect . Golly I hope I never have to do this . I love cooking it’s like chemistry or magic turning things from a magnolia sludge into a cake . But of course they can all starve
Earlier I saw a b&m truck unloading pot noodles by the pallet load...I thought don't hang about or you will be getting mugged for that lot...
I’ve decided that if I have a day without any work I’m going to try to make a loaf of bread. I haven’t got a clue how to. I don’t actually know what bread is. I’m guessing it’s some sort of flour and yeast and water and salt. But in what order or how much I haven’t got the foggiest. So if I don’t find the time now to try it I never will.
only time I tried to make bread we ended up using it as a doorstop for a few months - it was very erm, hardwearing.
If you can get the flour yeast etc . A packet of fast acting yeast ,which is the easiest will have instruction . But be prepared for pain or the best workout you had in while neeeeeeding the dough , that’s not that in you wallet Ps you will wonder how the fcuk they make it wrap it and deliver it for 50p
Making your own bread is great but finding the ingredients.....naah rocking horse s### at the moment. Most p
I don't think uncle Boris has gone far enough. Although I hate the idea I think the police and military should be on the streets to keep the idiots from wandering about or bending the rules on going out. It's frightening how many people still think it's seasonal flu or nothing at all. Some people are thick, some just don't care. I'm in now for at least 3 months as i'm on dialysis and still taking immunosuppressants for the kidney that no longer works. I's a scary time and although the mother in law just watched the Boris speech (a thing which she's avoided, because it will upset the children) she's just asked my partner to go a cut her grass tomorrow, then got stroppy because Lou said no. Unbelievable.
they bought all the *****ing food so lets hope they learn what to do with it pretty quickly otherwise next week they'll be moaning the bins are full!
I made sure my 10 year old son sat and watched the Boris Broadcast ... I cant remember a PM doing one in my 56 years and I believe my son knows what it is all about and how important our actions are. You cant shield them from the world for ever.
