Cooling and cab heater

  1. Hi, I'm new to this forum and indeed new to T2 Bay ownership. I have a 1973 Bay that is undergoing a full restoration. Although I am still on the normal body work repairs I need help in sorting out the cab heater and cooling metal work. I bought the camper with a new engine but with the cab heater and cooling tin work missing. There is no heat exchanger and a non standard exhaust. These are easy to fix although by the look of it very expensive. What I need help on with is what else is fitted to the engine to collect and control both the cooling and heating. Help!

  2. Have a gander at this link for starters mate, it shows you how the heating system should work.

Welcome to the forum by the way ;)

  3. Hi, Thanks for the link. It's very useful and I will refer to it when I come to doing the work however it assumes the reader has all the parts or, at least, knows which bits are missing. I almost need a 'photo of what a finished one should look like. I now know what two cables are that run under the floor though! Thanks for your help
