When I put the coolbox on "cool down" and off "economy" the red light flashes and makes a clicking noise?

Makes no difference when driving etc ,all three batteries are full....

Need to cool the beers down ,the food does not matter....:D

  2. Even a guess would be helpful ,as far as I am aware it has always done it ,and the fan does go into turbo mode...

  3. Is this on your inverter? I would guess over current ....
Is this an all new setup or has this problem just startup?

Looks like you have stuff blocking the cool vents etc from the photo... not saying that is the issue....

  4. Is there enough ventilation around it?

  5. what is a inverter?

The problem has always been there...

I will empty the box and try...

  6. tried it empty ,it kinda surges (the fan) when the light is flashing...

So is it just the fan and aluminum that cools the box down or is it more complicated?

    I could make this

It is probably drawing more current in turbo mode. And probably because the wiring is too thin it shuts down because the voltage at the cooler is too low. The current drops as it shuts down and so the voltage bounces back up letting the cooler think its Ok again and so on.
    Check the wiring..

And the home made aircon in that video does not work unless someone vents the hot air from the hot side of the peltier cooler plate outside the room.
Otherwise this is a 50 watt heater that blows slightly cooler air while warming up the room slowly..
