Since the great crash of 2011 this forum has seemed to lowered itself. I'm seeing more and more bickering and teeth bearing than before and I think it is creating a bad atmosphere. This is a family forum that was once a very friendly place and a handful of people are affecting that image. If you have a problem with someone ignore them and move on, life is to short to argue. Can't we just enjoy the fact that we are all part of a community that share the same love for VW campers? That is the whole reason for this forum, no? Thank you
well said but alot got cleared up by pm in last 24hrs so hopefully it will settle again to be honest though it's only been a couple of threads out of hundreds of good ones (even ploptops) on here and the 5 billion pics from chrisradioman
Lol at Chris. It just seems a shame mate, I know it's only a few but as the saying goes: "it takes a lifetime to get a good reputation but moments to loose it"
If I am one of said teeth bearers "ruining" the forum then I apologise. I admit to not knowing the full facts before sticking up for someone but that has all been cleared up now.
I never said ruining just creating a bad atmosphere. It is a free world and everybody is entitled to their own opinions but it seems people have a tendency to join whatever witch hunt is happening at the time. I'm not innocent, I had a little altercation with a member before the crash but I walked away and ignored it. Let's all be friends and group hug, if you can't be friends a lest be polite. If this is referring to me and my thread yesterday I apologise if I have upset anyone it was never my intention to cause uproar or disturb the peace in the camp I was merely voicing my opinion on a bad situation and it all got out of hand. I would like to thank all of the supportive tlb members that sent me some really nice pms and made nice comments on the forum.
^^ even baysearcher has cheered up. Lol This isn't a thread to start bitching and moaning, in fact the complete opposite. DD wasn't pointing fingers and stirring trouble but clearly just wanted to air her concerns. There has been others that have misunderstood each other and things have escalated, you know who you are, and they have made up. I understand you can't like everybody and you can't please all the people all the time, I just think people need to step back from things, take a deep breath and move on.
Have you got nothing better to do than pick on me. I have apologised and said that I never meant to cause anyone any upset. It may please you all to know that I am in tears and bits this morning over all this. Maybe some of you have no feelings, but I do so please just leave it now.
