Coil

  1. Are the lucas high performance coils any good code DLB105, the reason I ask is my local car spares will do me one for just over £15 which is quite a bit less than one from the usual places? And in the past I've suffered from bosch stuff failing on me a few times? Plus it's only round the corner from me :)

If it does not need a ballast resistor it will work.

Quick Google confirms it is the right general type and does not need a ballast.

At that price you can afford two...

  3. That's what the bloke at the spares place said but wanted to check , years ago lucas stuff was ok, well I will get one and see what happens :)
Worth a go for that price :)

  4. Think our van has a Lucas coil - it was on there when we bought it 2 years ago. I can check what type if you'd like.
    Seems to be ok! :)
