Coil relocation bracket

This coil relocation bracket came with my twin carb kit as the cross link covered where the coil sits,
Does anyone have a clue where this goes?

I've seen that bracket on the coolair site I'm considering ordering one

The one you have - the slot fits over a crankcase stud and one hole on the petrol pump stud nearest the fan housing. It's a pretty rubbish place to put the coil as far as plugging wires in goes, but it does hide it behind the fuel pump which could potentially tidy up the engine bay a bit. Didn't work for me.

Fitted it tonight I'm happy with it in that location, the crank case stud had nothing on it is this normal?

 

You mean no nut? It should have. If it was an extra long stud it would have had one of the single carb manifolds that bolt here.

 

That's what it was there for then, my old inlet manifold was just hooked over it with no bolt
