Hi All, hope someone can help me out with this one. Can anyone tell me the difference between a CE, CM and CU gearbox housing? I have a CM gearbox with no bellhousing that has been repaired. CM boxes are quite hard to come by and I want it to fit to an 1800cc type 4 engine. (Original setup) I know a CE fits to a type 1 engine and a CU fits a type 4 engine. Will either bellhousing fit the 1800cc? And if so, which is the correct starter? Type 1 or Type 4?
